I Get Mail: does not apply… again

For some odd reason, Bill felt the need to spam this twice:

May I contact,by email, and discuss my ideas with Red Wolf as I have some rather unique, perhaps unheard of, ideas that warrant some professional respect and feedback? Before I take more time and space that this little, amateurish site provides? If not Red Wolf, whom may I contact inre to The X Files Thank You for your attention; I earnestly desire some feedback

I have repeatedly attempted to explain to Bill, using really small words, that I have no connection to Chris Carter, The X-Files or anything else he seems obsessed with. I have had no luck explaining that I’m not even in the same country he is, but it all seems to fall on deaf ears.

Oh well, I figure he’ll be back again next week.

Print on Demand with ‘ATM for Books’

Angus & Robertson today became the first Australian book chain to install the Espresso Book Machine, capable of printing, trimming and binding a paperback book on demand within minutes. Shoppers will initially be able to choose from several hundred out-of-print or difficult to get hold of books, but Angus & Robertson said the range would expand daily, reaching 10,000 within 18 months. They would cost the same as the current shelf price of paperbacks or less, the retailer said

Google Forms Partnership with NBC to Expand in TV Advertising

Google will begin selling ads on some cable networks owned by NBC Universal in a new partnership that will expand Google’s efforts to become a force in television advertising. Under the agreement, NBC Universal will make a relatively small amount of advertising time on networks like MSNBC, CNBC, Sci Fi and Oxygen available for sale through Google’s TV Ads program in the coming months, the companies said. The partnership could later be extended to other NBC Universal properties

I Get Mail: DOES NOT APPLY

And he’s back:

Dear Red Wolf et al., As you and your Episode Guide have been and are an extremely professional and notable resource as I have just begun my (4th) fourth orbit or circuit of The X Files on SciFi and my own purchased(LEGAL) Series Seasons 1-9) You have earned my ulimate respect of your judgement! If I was itching (like now) to continue on with the X Files beginning with Mulder’s and Scully’s Son, William, Chris Carter, left the Series with so much to continue from…I would like to resurrect the series! The cadre of Writers, Directors, and crew of thirteen productions…which is now still, I am willing to go to Losa Angeles, California and facilitate a NEW AGE Am I being foolish? Forgive my Northeastern-naivete! I CANNOT BELIEVE CHRIS CARTER WOULD ALLOW David and Gillian to be so powerful Allowing his brainchild be so dependent on Two stars who gave their best and deserve rest! Please respond to me I am Serious William P. Simonetti

I’m still not getting the obsession.

BBC Worldwide, Auntie’s commercial arm, is developing a music download service, offering streamed for free and paid download works from its archive of music that bands have recorded for TV and radio in BBC studios. The Beeb’s radio and television music shows frequently feature live sessions recorded at BBC HQ, often of current singles, acoustic versions of popular tracks, or cover versions of other artists’ work. I Get Mail: please leave a message

It’s full moon? He’s off his meds? I’m just special this week? Who knows, but Bill felt the need to spam me again this morning:

Dear Red Wolf, I would like to know to whom I may address, in order that I may personally crusade in order that the X Files is much more than just David Duchovny and Gillian Anderson, but a Cadre of Extremely talented Writers,GIFTED, Directors, and Producers! The Creator Chris Carter left His Series with an episode, that even I an untalented, naive, and local yokel could continue with The Birth of William holds so much! Please respond, [Bill’s full name and address removed] ps. I figure, if thirteen productions has folded…if one can’t have more; Why not make moreChris Carter left a WONDERFUL SHOW to be left is a sin!

He seems to be having trouble with his space bar today.

I Get Mail: Educated (?) Educator

If you have any form of online presence sooner or later you’ll get odd email.
I have an interesting regular missive sender with an X-Files fetish and a seriously dodgy grip on reality. I figure it’s about time to share Bill’s emails with the world. Plus it should serve as a warning that if you feel the need to send me insane email, I may well feel the urge to share it with a wider audience.

Dear Red Wolf, Would it be feasible to personally fly out to Los Angeles, the former site of thirteen productions, to rally or promote the cause of continuing Chris Carter’s BRAINCHILD deeply imbedded into his X Files Never has a series left the stage with such an easy or simple to return to the original plot formation…Okay Mulder has left in a rather earth shaking event; But he left behind Little William and Scully…AND SUCH A CADRE OF WRITERS! I know I can speak for millions who would rather sit on their duffs lamenting! Please respond and I wil submit the Hows And Wherefores, [Bill’s full name and address removed]

He’s got the uppercase shouting, the weird title casing of unrelated words, peculiar quoting and interesting spelling down, but email forms do limit you in your ability to change the font to Comic Sans, switch the colours to clown vomit and add blink tags, so it could have looked even more wacky.

Copyright Crusaders to Launch Cyber Campaign

Critics of the Harper government’s proposed changes to the Copyright Act have launched a cyber crusade to fight the controversial bill. They’re using everything from Facebook to YouTube to Wikipedia to blogs to get their message out. They want the government to either scrap or make serious amendments to Bill C-61 when Parliament resumes next month. At the helm of the digital movement is Michael Geist, a professor at the University of Ottawa who specialises in Internet and e-commerce law. In addition to his own blog, Geist runs a Facebook group called Fair Copyright for Canada that boasts 90,000 members
