Tietgen Student Hall / Lundgaard & Tranberg Arkitekter

Located on Orestad, a newer district in Copenhagen, Denmark, lies the award-winning Tietgen Student Hall (Tietgenkollegiet), a large circular residence with a massive interior courtyard.

The building was completed in 2006 and was designed by Lundgaard & Tranberg Arkitekter. The seven storey structure contains 360 rooms, comprising a total area of 26,800 square metres.

The building’s circular form — a symbol of equality and the communal — is contrasted by projecting volumes expressing the individual residences. Below you will find information about the building and its unique features, along with a complete gallery of both the interior and exterior and of course the incredible communal courtyard — via Twisted Sifter

M53 Bronze / Lum-Tec

The M53 Bronze is similar to others in the M line — with the biggest exception to that being the CuSn8 case, which should develop a wonderful patina over time. This watch also has some great vintage feel to it. The dial and hands are black, and on top of that, you have eight layers of their vintage lume.

This means two things — one, you’ve got an almost aged look to the lume right of the bat. Second, with eight layers, you’re going to have a nice glow coming from your wrist when it gets dark — via Wrist Watch Review

Jardim America House / Isay Weinfeld

Brazilian architect Isay Weinfeld created this elegant house in the leafy neighbourhood of Jardim America, in São Paulo.

He was engaged by a young couple who are collectors of art, who wanted a spacious, bright and informal atmosphere where they could raise three energetic children and enjoy their art collection too.

The result is a cheerful family home in the Yucatan jungle — via Home Design Find

Taliesin / Diamond Schmitt Architects

50 years ago, Lord Glenconner created a private island sanctuary for those who were tired of the usual holday destinations. The island of Mustique is located in the Grenadines, West Indies and now has 9 pristine beaches and 74 villas including Taliesin.

Designed by Diamond Schmitt architects, the Taliesin residence is situated on a steep slope. The 20,000 square foot residence includes a gym, pool, spa, and activity rooms. The residence takes full advantage of its beautiful site allowing for an open-air lifestyle while providing luxurious seclusion and privacy. As a result, the main living space is organized to maximize the view of the ocean, and the living room, dining room, and kitchen all look out over the sea — via ArchDaily

Late Victorian House / Oldbury

On the face of it, this late Victorian nine-bedroom house in Oldbury, Bridgnorth, Shropshire doesn’t need a lot of work. But go inside and you’ll see it needs more than just a lick of paint.

Not massively more though — and you do get an awful lot of house for your cash. Described as substantial, this detached property is situated in one of Bridgnorth’s best residential areas and sat within two acres of grounds. Yes, your very own estate.

If you want it, offers of around £650,000 are invited — via WowHaus

72 Mono Racer / Loaded Gun Customs

If there’s a dominant custom trend today, it’s dark and minimal. Bikes are being stripped of chrome and artifice, and generally look the better for it. But there’s always an exception, and in this case, it’s the 72 Mono Racer from Loaded Gun Customs.

If the name is familiar to you, it’s probably because Delaware-based LGC have featured in all three series of Café Racer TV. This is their latest build, a pale and interesting cafe racer that started life as a 1972 Bonneville — via Bike EXIF
