A few days ago thousands of customers turned against domain registrar GoDaddy for their support of the Stop Online Piracy Act (SOPA).
Transfer requests for thousands of domains were started, and even big players such as Wikipedia threatened to move.
In a response, GoDaddy was quick to drop their support for SOPA (but not really), and the company kindly asked customers to come back.
Many customers were nevertheless determined to move to other registrar, but that presented a new problem.

A pair of Bronx food pantries in jeopardy of closing have gotten a reprieve in the form of a large donation.
The Muslim Women’s Institute for Research and Development has been operating food pantries in Highbridge and Parkchester since 1997, but without $50,000, the organisation would have had to shutter the pantries at the end of the month.
But Monday evening, executive director Nurah Ama’tulla received a check for $100,000. She says she is grateful and relieved that thousands of families in the Bronx won’t have to go elsewhere for assistance.

Hialeah grandmother Josefa Lopez said she felt no fear earlier this week when she used the wrath of an angry mother and her aluminum cane to fight off a gunman who beat and robbed her 61-year-old daughter.
At one point, the man fired a shot but missed the enraged octogenarian, who turns 81 on Thursday. Speaking in Spanish from the porch of her home Wednesday, yards from the scene of the incident, Lopez said she blindly charged against the gunman after seeing her daughter lying on the circular driveway, bleeding from her face.
