50 years ago, Lord Glenconner created a private island sanctuary for those who were tired of the usual holday destinations. The island of Mustique is located in the Grenadines, West Indies and now has 9 pristine beaches and 74 villas including Taliesin.
Designed by Diamond Schmitt architects, the Taliesin residence is situated on a steep slope. The 20,000 square foot residence includes a gym, pool, spa, and activity rooms. The residence takes full advantage of its beautiful site allowing for an open-air lifestyle while providing luxurious seclusion and privacy. As a result, the main living space is organized to maximize the view of the ocean, and the living room, dining room, and kitchen all look out over the sea — via ArchDaily
