Police are investigating an apparent death by malnutrition in Adelaide’s southern suburbs.

A 27-year-old woman was found dead in her Brighton home recently weighing just 11 kilograms, the average weight of a small child.

It is understood she was suffering from a spinal condition and had been bedridden for some time.
