When American soldiers pulled out of Europe after World War II, they left hundreds of automobiles behind. Many were consigned to a scrapyard in the woods near Bastnas, Sweden. The brothers who ran the scrapyard abandoned it over twenty years ago, and since then moss has grown inside the cars and trees have grown up through them. Cleaning up the scrapyard is proving to be a difficult task, as birds and animals use the classic autos for nests.
