iTunes For Windows

Not a fan of iTunes for Windows. Aside from its annoying habit of renaming the files I’d painstakingly named, it doesn’t like being removed. I’ve had blue screen of death and an unstable PC in the aftermath of the two occasions I’ve tangled with the piece of crap

It works gloriously on mac. I’ve had it installed on windows machine at work, but my machine can’t always handle me listening to music and keeping Photoshop, Illustrator, Flash and my email open at the same time terribly well, so I don’t use it that often at work. I only use it briefly to preview music and sounds and when converting into MP3 for Flash.

I expected the Mac version to be better behaved. I had problems with WinAmp 5 dying and taking out my soundcard, but an update to the software (and more RAM) seem to have fixed that annoying bug so I won’t be risking iTunes again
