Strong Bad Arcade

A new game category has been added to the blog, so I thought it very fitting to post a link to this Strong Bad email, complete with some flash games at the end featuring everyone’s favourite sexy mexican wrestling mask clad guy — Strong Bad.

If you don’t who Strong Bad is, than your are seriously missing out and I pity you in tremendous amounts. You also need a recent flash player and to check out the rest of homestarrunner.com. There are also other games worthy of playing in the games section, such as Trogdor the Burninator!, awxome cross and population: tire.

Adobe Not Releasing Universal Binaries Of Current Software

Adobe have posted this question and answer PDF regarding Adobe products running on the new Intel-Based Macs. Looks like the Photoshop TV guys were right, a Universal Binary will not be available for CS2, Adobe will instead focus on making CS3 compatible with both Intel-Based Macs and the current Macs. CS3 could be available in the next 18 - 24 months if you look at Adobe's rack record for major releases.

The Dreadful Embarrassment, Now In Purple!

Like most creatives who prefer working on Apples, I've been hanging out for some sort of concrete evidnece that the Adobe CS2 suite will run well/much better on the new Intel-based Macs under the Rosetta emulator, or that Adobe will release a Universal Binary update. Well I need a new mac within the next week, and decided to just go ahead and place an order for a 17-inch PowerBook any ways. I've also managed to find a two-tone purple laptop bag over at the Crumpler site named, The Dreadful Embarrassment.

    Article from ‘The Age’ Website

One of the web’s most entertaining cartoon sites. Hundreds of short Flash animations that feature a colourful collection of characters, including Homestar himself, Strong Bad, Pom Pom, Marzipan and the King of Town. The music, the imagery and voice acting are great, and the formula means there is something both kids and adults will get out of it. Interactive holiday videos abound, but the massive hit of the site is the Strong Bad emails, where Strong Bad has adventures each week as part of responding to fan messages. This is where Strong Bad created Trogdor the Burninator, later referenced in the final episode of Buffy. You know you’re big when you’ve become a TV pop-culture reference.

You know your awsome when your in Buffy and The Age
