Andrew O’Conner, a former public defender, was abruptly interrupted at the St John’s College Library when city police officers arrested him at the computer terminal he was using, handcuffed him, and brought him for questioning by Secret Service agents who accused him of making threatening remarks about the retarded monkey boy in an Internet chat room. Interestingly enough, US senators from both parties are accusing the FBI of excessive secrecy and demanding details of how federal agents use antiterrorist laws to spy on people’s Internet activity
