Drummond Street Residence / Lucian Hood + Phillip Willard + AREA Architecture

This sprawling mid century modern home in Houston, Texas, was designed by local architects Lucian Hood and Phillip Willard, who built a number of homes in the masonry style in the late ’40s and early ’50s. Completed in 1952, the 270 square metre residence was restored as well as sensitively expanded by Los Angeles-based AREA Architecture in 1999. Located at 4127 Drummond Street, the property is offered at $1.275 million — via Curbed
