Converted 1929 Train Depot / Gotland, Sweden

While this 1929 train depot home in Gotland, Sweden is not the strangest example of adaptive reuse, it’s pretty darn cute. You might not guess it from its darling red brick exterior, but the renovated 1,300-square-foot abode has quite a bit of edge inside with concrete floors and walls, sheet metal ceiling, and razor-sharp custom furniture throughout.

In addition to an intimate bedroom and remodelled bathroom on the ground level, a ladder also leads up to warmer, timber lofted guest quarters. Into it? Good news: it just hopped on the market for about $400,000 — via Curbed
