Bewdley House / Robert Swan

Designed in 2006 by the architect Robert Swan for his family, the house is found in a quiet plot at the side of a Victorian viaduct in Bewdley, Worcestershire. That’s right, a viaduct runs right alongside.

In addition to that, the land was formerly part of the landscaped gardens of a country house designed by noted garden designer Gertrude Jekyll. That means many of the original plantings from the period of the house remain.

If you fancy it, the house is up for £600,000 — via WowHaus
