Special Edition SAR Rescue-Timer “150 Jahre DGzRS” / Mühle-Glashütte

Mühle-Glashütte’s just introduced a new limited edition version: the Mühle-Glashütte Special Edition SAR Rescue-Timer 150 Jahre DGzRS. This limited edition commemorates the 150th anniversary of the German Maritime Search and Rescue Service (the Deutsche Gesellschaft zur Rettung Schiffbrüchiger, or DGzRS, in German) with a dial treatment that includes the Hanseatic Cross (the symbol of the Rescue Service, which is derived from the symbol of the Hanseatic cities bordering the North and Baltic Seas) as well as a special window on the dial at 6:00 which changes daily to exhibit seven key points of information — in German — about the service: date founded, years in action, number of people rescued, number of operations in 2014, the emergency number for the Service, the Service’s homepage, and the quote, Klar P3! — via HODINKEE
