Horological Machine HMX / MB&F

This year MB&F celebrates its 10th year in the watchmaking business, and to honour this momentous occasion, they have conceived a new horological machine — HMX — as in the Roman numeral for ten. Inspired by Büsser’s love of designing fantastical super cars as a child, the HMX’s curved case is made of stainless steel and grade-5 titanium and was particularly challenging to manufacture. The piece comes in four colours reflective of automotive design: Lotus black, British racing green, Bugatti blue, and Ferrari red — via HODINKEE
