Histoire de Tourbillon 6 / Harry Winston

The sixth series in Harry Winston’s exploration of the tourbillon features two independent hour indications: one regulated by a tri-axial tourbillon (positioned at 7 o’clock) and the other by a carousel (1 o’clock position). Both are fairly unusual complications, particularly a tri-axial tourbillon. The Calibre HW4701 comprises a whopping 683 parts. Like other Histoire de Tourbillon watches of recent years, this is a watch that exudes complication merely for complication’s sake. This is of course a show-piece for Harry Winston — only 20 will be made (in white gold), and sold at a price of many hundred thousand dollars apiece — via Perpétuelle
