DB29 Maxichrono Tourbillon / De Bethune

You won’t find many tourbillon watches giving priority to their chronograph complications, but that’s just what we see in the De Bethune Maxichrono Tourbillon. The escapement is completely hidden behind a double case back, taking a back seat to the brand new patented chronograph system that you see on the dial. There are no sub-dials to be found here, just five hands anchored at the centre of the dial. Traditional hour and minute hands are marked by circular openings at their tips, and chronograph hours, minutes, and seconds hands track up to 24 hours along inset rings — via HODINKEE
